Antique Engraving "Charlottenburg Castle", Copenhagen 18th Cent. Print, Colored!

Description

Up for sale is an outstanding antique engraving depicting the beautiful "Charlottenburg Castle" in Copenhagen as seen in the title in the top margin. This print dates to the late 18th century and was engraved by G.G. Winkler and Georg Balthasar as seen in the low left and right. Measuring a total 16 x 12 inches this also comes unframed. The quality of the engraving is stunning originally made for a convex lens "Vues d'optique". It has been laid down to another piece of paper a long time ago and has suffered from toning, trimmed margins, wrinkles, creases, some chipping along the bottom and possible minor punctures. Please examine the images closely as they do accurately represent the condition of this antique print.
