All crystals are marked CR-18/U or CR-18A/U.  These are fundamental-mode, parallel resonance crystals with 1/2" pin spacing and .050" pins.  They will usually fit in most protyping boards I've encountered, although the fit is kinda tight.
Many of these are military surplus and were used in or intended to be used in the PRC series of transceivers or other military RF equipment.  The picture is representative of the type of crystal you will receive (HC-6/U case, marked CR-18 or CR-18A).  There will likely be some dust, signal Corp stamps, etc. as is typical of this stuff from the 50's and 60's.  The frequency will be readable, the case will be physically sound, and the crystal will function.
All crystals have been tested in an RCA WR-50B oscillator and read on an HP-5350B counter.
