    Most are marked "CR8" on the front cover and "FT-243" on the case, and have the frequency of the crystal on the face and engraved on the top.   There are many manufacturers and the pictures are representative of what is available and the condition of the item you receive.  Expect signal-corps and date code stamps, MFP, etc. as is typical of this WWII/postwar stuff.
    All crystals are tested for oscillation and that the frequency is near what is marked, consistent with tolerances and aging that is typical.  Some of these have aged up a little bit, as is typical.
