Replacing the motor is a straightforward task, achievable by the average home mechanic.
Briefly, you remove the running board from the truck, then remove the motor from the bracket.
Then, after cleaning and lubricating the brackets, you re-assemble using the new motor.

This motor is for replacing the original Ford motor, not aftermarket running boards.
