Description
See all the pictures which complete the description. Please ask any questions before you purchase!I live in Oologah Oklahoma and it is my hometown. Oologah has great importance historically as it is the birthplace of Will Rogers. It is my understanding that these banks were not sold to the public. I acquired this from someone who had served on the town board many years ago. It is numbered 25/50. It is the McClary Building built in 1907, it was originally the Drug Store. The building is still on main street in Oologah, but I don't have a current picture. The bank is made of VERY heavy (unknown) cast metal with the slot at the top and a rubber stopper on the bottom. I was told it was made in Inola, Oklahoma. Bank was never used as a bank and has just been sitting around. Cleaning is left to buyer preference. Measures 5-1/4" high x 3-3/4" wide x 4-3/4" deep.
