    Description

    This is a  wonderful piece of art made by Peggie Kilgore and her husband Claude.
    T
    he cornhusk dolls are made by Peggie, and the wooden bases and accessories are made by Claude.
    Here is Grandma standing on her braided rug at her spinning wheel with her cat napping beside her.
    The base measures 6" x 4", and the height of the piece including base is 7 1/2".
    Condition is excellent.
    The base is signed "PK 81".  Unlike most simple corn husk dolls, Peggie's dolls are lifelike with physically correct bodies and limbs and beautifully painted faces that reflect their personalities.  I  will be listing more Kilgore figures next week.
